Wyoming does not have any statutory provisions on surrogacy. The state also does not have any published cases dealing with the issue of surrogacy.
It is therefore unclear how Wyoming law would treat a surrogacy agreement that includes lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT) individuals.
However, there is no explicit prohibition in Wyoming on LGBT couples jointly adopting a child. There is also no explicit prohibition on LGBT individuals adopting a child of their same-sex partner.
